Equal Employment Opportunity
Area Networks will not tolerate any violation of the laws relating to Equal Employment
Opportunity, including:
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in hiring, promotion,
discharge, pay, fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral, and other
aspects of employment, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 protects qualified applicants and employees
from similar discrimination on the basis of disability.
The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 protects applicants and employees
40 years of age or older from discrimination in all hiring, promotion, discharge,
compensation, terms, conditions or priveleges of employment.
The Equal Pay Act of 1963 prohibits discrimination in payment of wages to women
and men performing substantially equal work in the same establishment.
Sexual Harassment
Area Networks will not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind within the Company
or at the Company's customers. As stated in the written policies and procedures
regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, such activity will be given immediate attention
by the management of this Company.
OSHA Compliance
Area Networks provides its employees with a working environment that is free from
obvious, recognized safety hazards that are likely to cause injury, as prescribed
by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
